Unlikely, as M$ is applying its usual trick: perversion of
non-M$ standards by introducing M$-proprietary add-ons. (This approach is
very similiar to the browser wars vs HTML standartization). Sun,
apparently, stupidly left a lot of loopholes for the competition.
Additionally, pico/ultraJAVA CPUs will come much too late. I see no reason
why the WinTel cartel should be weakened, quite vice versa.
