Well, since you asked...(I warn all readers that this poem is based
upon thoughts produced in _The Illuminatus! Trilogy_ by Robert Anton Wilson
and Robert Shea. If anyone doesn't understand the poem, it is probably a
conspiracy! :-))

Illumination

Well, Hell --I say the world's got flaws,
Thirteen fears and a forlorn cause,
Everything I see has many sides,
Not quite obscure as the Devil hides

I can't shake the feeling it's a conspiracy,
Illuminated lies and numerology,
I can't help thinking there's a fifth skin
Under primordial three and the second sin;

The pyramid's eye is never hidden:
The sacred truth is not forbidden,
It's so apparent --it's in plain sight,
Simplicity shrouded in luminescent light;

Well, Hell --I say the world's got flaws,
Belittled order and sneaky laws,
Guided hands create the lie:
A constructed myth, unseen alibi;

I can't shake the feeling it's a conspiracy,
It's shown itself throughout history:
The dollar-bill, the twenty-three,
The assassination of Kennedy;

The pyramid's eye is never hidden,
Illumination's horse is ever ridden
To the very brink of a dictation
Unless there is a realization...

Well, Hell --I say the world's got flaws,
Atlantis lost and Shangri-Las,
Illumination on what we should see:
Anything but conspiracy.
