Isn't Nutra-Sweet just the trade name for aspartame? Aspartame, if I
don't misremember is just a dipeptide (phenylalanine and another amino
acid) and is definitely hydrolysed in the stomach (it also occurs in
normal cell metabolism). How well grounded is this research claiming it
is carcinogenous?
