IAN: Where an "artist" is: one who manipulates physical
matter or "data" in some fashion deemed to be "skillful"
or "esthetically pleasing" by some subjective observer. I
can see no better definition, thus I say your claim is true.
Even a "con artist" is an artist to the extent that he is
able to manipulate physical matter in some fashion someone
thinks is "skillful or "esthetically pleasing."
