The context isn't entirely clear, but I think Chris is reacting
to the evidence that at least four Extropians subscribers had
pseudonyms at anon.penet.fi. I, for one, became a penet client
by responding to anonymous postings: penet created a pseudonym
for me so that my mail to an##### would itself by shielded.
(I did get one notice from Julf, not counting two second-hand.)
