Telomerase and cancer

The stock of Geron jumped by 48% this morning. In today's issue of The Proceedings Of The national Academy Of Science researchers from that company wrote an article that shows that "inhibitors of telomerase can remortalize human cancer cells", in other words, they can make cancer die of old age, at least in the lab.
