My intent was actually more crafty.

  1. I was referring to the approximate fact that the sunward side of objects one AU from the sun reaches about 300F, while the darkward side cools considerably.
  2. I hadn't thought of this until you guessed I meant some other units, but one could also take this as a veiled joke about NASA. and their reported units confusion debacle.

I hereby add this meaning to my intention. :)
