Allen Tough asked me to post this on his behalf (he is not a subscriber to the SETI list, but I have copied all the posts to him):
I appreciate the interest in my ideas over the past few days. Thanks for such a wide range of views and ideas.
Anyone who wants to seriously study the ideas behind the web-based Invitation to ETI can do so at
http://members.aol.com/WelcomeETI/8.html
http://members.aol.com/WelcomeETI/4.html
http://members.aol.com/AllenTough/strategies.html.
And remember that even the most conservative SETI scientists agree
that ETI is likely at least 100,000 years beyond our technology. The
deep implications of that are worth thinking about for a few minutes.
