What's your evidence for this Paul? I'm not denying it, but I'm not convinced either. Personally, I'm not a private person. I've always been extremely open about my views and interests, even when those around me are not in sync. For instance, when I was in my first year of grad school, the professors knew about my involvement in cryonics during the Dora Kent crisis. I know some Extropians prize their privacy highly, but I'm not sure it's a general characteristic.
