Well that's a meme that needs to be changed.
Death is the end of change in the conscious mind. When you are dead you don't change no more. Thus Life is change.
When you sleep you are not dead because you are still changing. Albeit at a slower rate. And when you wake up you are free to change again.
When you are dead you don't change no more, and you don't wake up.
Change is good. To change and evolve is to feel and be alive!
