Possible spoiler alert:
I haven't got to the other story yet, but I wasn't terribly impressed
with this one; the 'trick' seemed pretty obvious from the beginning,
but also seems unlikely to work. The uploading tech was also rather
dubious; leaving out memories to 'save space' in the upload's computer.
I don't see how this would be possible if memories are distributed
across the neural network in the brain.
However, it is nice to see more people writing about this kind of
thing.
