homeopapes

I was thinking about Philip K. Dick's 1960s `homeopapes' this morning,
wondering if it was a stunning forecast of rewritable download news media.
Did a search, found the Dicktionary (ho ho), was reminded it's more a fax
printout of text your software agent or maybe you yourself decide each day
to select from a menu. Still, not bad. When all these whimsical newspaper
articles come out whining because sf and cartoon writers got it wrong with
home helicopters and moon bases, they ignore this sort of nice detail.
