"Your dollars accomplish around a hundred times as much"??? Really? What
exactly are those membership fee dollars doing to "fund the revolution?"
Granted ExI is doing its darndest to spread transhumanist memes, but then
they are hardly the only folks doing so. Given the wealth of informative
transhuman web sites up these days, it can hardly be said that ExI is even
the best place to go for transhumanist info. I've never been to an Extro.
I'm sure they're really neat and lots of fun, but my guess is that its
basically future-folks preaching almost exclusively to the choir.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking Exi or agreeing with Ian. But I think
your comments might be just as much an overstatement as his post was.
