into the possibility that economic output could rise to unheard of levels
in the next few decades. After all the charts and equations pointing
towards something incredible happening, they continue to see the future
in conventional terms. What a letdown.
The symbiosis thing might still happen with advanced biotech. Will that come
in the 21st century time-frame? I dunno. Vegetation that produces all manner
of carbonaceous and even silicate products (using my wild immagination) might
be ok with having a stable climate and the like.
