Doug we were told the shape of the continental shelf east of Canaveral is supposed to protect that land from hurricanes. Hope so. My folks live in Titusville and refuse to evacuate. There is a high tide scheduled for about three hours before the storm hits. A surge along with a high tide would be bad news for them. {8-[ spike
