General goal: infinite existence under the best possible conditions. Primary means to achieve this: reason, science and technology. Motivation: enlightened self-interest.

I belief that Externalism is a figment of the imagination, to be precise. A wild, unfounded speculation at best. "Selfishness", or rather enlightened self-interest, on the other hand is very real and very practical (so yes, of course it's superior). Get hip dude, get Internalist.
