The terms themselves are definitely silly (especially when one thinks of their origins!). But the philosophical issues surrounding the two positions denoted -- the nature of the individual, of society, and of the relation between the two -- will, in my view, be some of the last to be "solved" in the mega-tech era.
But we'll see! (I hope....)
