I don't suppose you happen to know why homeopathy went out of style in the first place?

I do. We discovered the atom. This was a death blow to the respectability of homeopathic medicine, because it means that matter is not infinitely divisible. The "best" homeopathic remedies are such extreme dilutions that in most cases they do not contain even a single atom of the original substance.

Since this means that you are simply drinking ordinary distilled water, arguing about supposed effects becomes a bit silly. What is supposed to be causing an effect - sympathetic magic?
