While there may be a lot of useful information at

http://www.quackwatch.com

one of the underlying themes there seems to be that all nutrients and drugs should be controlled by terrocrats, and that terrocrats should require medical licensing and have the authority to approve or deny the sale of certain substances. For an example take a look at the article at

http://www.quackwatch.com/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/hfreedom.html

The above article is critical of those who talk about "health freedom" and implies that anyone who believes in health freedom is either a quack or someone who's been deceived by quacks.

Sure, there may be a lot of quacks out there, but as long as they aren't doing anything to purposely deceive their customers, and their customers want to take their suggestions and/or buy their products, they should have the freedom to do so, and to live with the consequences.
