I agreed with much of what Dan Fabulich said in his post, and especially appreciate the idea about "tapped into something so universal, so utterly ubiquitous in human society" that it might not have been invented, but discovered during the process.

In another post, Dan said:

Extropianism, as well as transhumanism, would not exist without philosophy.
