While I appreciate the effort you've gone to, I feel that from an organizational point of view, it would be much more productive if Nick remained the person co-ordinating the process of providing answers to the FAQs. It minimizes communication difficulties, and duplication of effort. This is especially true with respect to private email; recall that Nick's original request was that we email him comments; you have not been privy to the entire conversation. Nick is the person best placed to continue co-ordination of the entire discussion.
I do think it would be great if your site could host a copy of the FAQ once it has been developed.
