In a message dated 97-09-05 21:27:29 EDT, you write:

<< English having a larger vocabulary than other languages, Dyson claims
that the subtleties of our "deterrence" collapse to "intimidation" in
Russian. >>

Does it really? I only speak Texan...however I understand Yankee and English
pretty good...I think....I thought Mandaran Chineese was the most complex
language...not the same as large vocabulary huh?

While participating in the South East Asian War Games in I tried to learn
Thai...a multi-tonal language...didn't do so well...since I couldn't carry a
tune in a bucket. Amused the Thai instructor no end.

This fascinates me...please continue.
