The (in)famous case which has tarnished CSICOP in some people's eyes is
the so-called "sTARBABY" affair during the 1970's. This involved an
alleged cover-up by CSICOP of research which appeared to confirm some
positive astrology results. Try doing a web search on "starbaby", or
