Danny is taking the pole shift thing in circles (pardon the pun).
If I am not misremembering, first he said the Great Alignment will
flip the Earth in a day, so that Antarctica is on the equator.
When the astrophysicists in the audience asked what force could
do that, Danny said the crust (which is far less massive than the
rest of the planet) goes slipping about, as a whole (a phenomenon
distinct from continental drift), leaving the mantle behind.
I pointed to Hawaii as evidence that it must not happen often.
Danny responds:

: Maybe the whole world turns, and not just the crust.

Well then, we're back to the big question:
What force can flip a planet over in one day?

Sorry if we're being dull, Danny.
Maybe there's a magic RPG list that would be interested.
