That's no more a "confirmation of his model" than the fact that
polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were found in a Mars rock are
confirmation of 50s sci-fi films.  Velikofsky was a complete idiot,
made hundreds of blind guesses, and one of them turned out right.
He deserves as much "credit" for that as tomorrow's lottery winner
deserves for his foresight.
