Why? I've heard of similar experiments (micro-PK) for decades. I recall
reading a Reader's Digest article about such more than 20 years ago
while waiting for my car to be fixed, and it wasn't new to me then. I
always regarded it as mildly interesting but of little practical
application since the effects were so subtle and not systematically
repeatable. I just tossed up the we're-living-in-a-sim idea since my
quick scanning of the given URL suggested they attributed this to some
dormant global consciousness being awakened and I just thought that
seemed a wee bit premature.
