Robert, we're all pretty upset so I can understand how in the heat
of the moment you can write something so bloodthirsty, but you
are not a stupid man so I was astonished you could write
something so silly. Terrorism is a concept not a place, the
idea you can stop it by dropping 300 H bombs on Afghanistan
and killing 25 million people is dumb, incredibly dumb.
The amount of hate it would generate among the billion plus
people in the Islamic world would produce hideous terrorist
attacks and make the WTC look like a walk in the park.
I'd guess three months max before the entire city of New York
was turned into a radioactive wasteland, and I don't even want
to think what would happen after that. There is almost no way
to stop the singularity, but that would do it.
