Oh really? Exactly what number of deaths constitutes terrorism? Ten? Ten
thousand?
AFAIC, terrorism cannot operate in private, and if it does, then since I won't
hear about such confidential things, they can't concern me, since it's a
private matter.
In the case of the atrocity of September 11, 2001, we know who the terrorists
are, and the only question is how to appropriately punish them. Privacy issues
enter into it only to the extent that terrorists plan their violence secretly.
Religious fanatics do not threaten privacy as much as they terrorize free
speech. For example, remember how religious fanatics threatened the life of
Salmon Rushdie? Well, the same kind of religious fanatics are behind the
atrocity of September 11, 2001. So anyone who wants to bug my telephone is
welcome to get an earful of what I think about the ***holes who want to
restrict freedom of speech.

We won't move into a better future until we debunk religiosity, the most
regressive force now operating in society.
