Indeed, in fact we should do everything possible to prevent this.

For the first battle of this new war we should make it very clear
that our enemy is Osama Bin Laden, his network, and the Taliban
government that supported him. Our goal should be to destroy him
and destroy/topple the Taliban government.

This should be followed immediately by bringing in the U.N. to re-
establish a democratic society with basic rights like universal
sufferage.

I think EvMick's "Operation Wal-Mart" is worth considering.

We should get out of there as soon as possible, and on to the next
battle.
