I in no way want to treat these terrorists as my friends. I am greatly
offended by this assumption. In my secret life with the government, I have
actually fought terrorists, waged information war campaigns, and developed
enemy surveillance techniques that are currently being used against these
terrorists. I have personally caught hackers in government computers and
thwarted some serious breaches of national security. I am not a stranger to
information warfare or surveillance techniques.
These ideas about "embarrassing" the enemy are stupid and naive. No
terrorist suicide bomber will simply give up when confronted with an
embarrassing photograph of their leader. It is a creative and fun idea for
a civilian population to dream about, but it has little place in modern
warfare. The real experts are utilizing much more sophisticated techniques
than these.
