Good to see you're paying attention, Charlie, but lighten up! A little madness
can give you the courage to cut the cord and be free. One of the most
obnoxious things about religious fanatics is their lack of a sense of humor
(which indicates a lower than average level of intelligence). The only way
you're going to convert ignorant religious fanatics to extropian ideals (short
of major brain surgery) is to administer powerful super-neurotech drugs which
have yet to be invented. So we don't have time to wait for the Singularity to
deliver us from the malicious minions of malevolent ministries. Learn it;
live it; love it.

BTW, you've activated the "Hitler rule" so this thread is dead.
You might already know about the Hitler rule in debate, which seems to crop up
most in online conversation. The rule is that bringing Hitler into any subject
automatically kills the exchange, because comparing people or their practices
to Hitler('s) means the bottom of the rhetoric barrel has been scraped:
"Hitler was a vegetarian, therefore all decent people eat meat."

We won't move into a better future until we debunk religiosity, the most
regressive force now operating in society.
