One other point, that bomber was a B-17. They're well less then half the
size of a 757, WAY less then half the mass, and being prop driven, would
have been going much slower at impact,, notwithstanding that the B-17 pilot
might have killed alot of direct velocity with an unsuccessful last second
evasive.
