2 things come to mind.
1. This world would be so much nicer if people would stop worrying what
other people are making. Its none of your business. I don't care what your
intentions are. As they say, the road to hell is paved with them.
2. A company with executive X makes 5 million a year profit. They fire him
and hire executive Y and profits go to 20 million due to his restructuring.
Did executive Y earn his 3 million dollar wage? I think so (not that its our
job to judge).
