I think there is some truth to what you are saying. Not because this type
of unimaginative thinking represents the character of list members, but
because the nature of email lists provoke a sense of abandonment coupled
with a sense of nonconformity.
I would prefer to converse with those who have a tempered understanding of
those we may not share our particular ideological or philosophical views.
Emphasizing the humanity in transhumanity is a positive stance which can
only benefit our growth and a wider acceptance of our ideas.
