You have to vote, by law in Oz.
Advantage: you don't get twits like Reagan voted in by only 12% (I think
that was the number) of populations deciding it was worth voting.
Disadvantage: you get jerks like our current sad excuse for a prime
minister because there are only a couple of choices: tweedle dumb and
tweedle dumber. (We have other candidates but they never attract many votes.)
I wish we had another box on the voting form "None of the above" so that if
it returned a majority the dopey politicians would have to hold another
election again and again until they got it right... or until people got
sick of seeing them and voted one side in anyway, just to get some peace.
