There is little they can do. Chicago, proper, has been one of the
greatest strongholds of the Democrat political machine since the 19th
century, ruled by the Daley family and their vassales like a feudal
duchy. Anyone who values their right to keep and bear has moved out of
the city a long time ago. There is little remaining electoral support
for gun rights in the city limits. Those gun owners that remain are
generally economic prisoners or else have bought into the mantra of
'rational gun control', or else are members of the elite leadership, for
whome the rules do not apply.
