As a footnote, when I did the test again, this time giving gut reactions
rather than scrupulous answers to literal readings of the questions, I came
out closer to J.R. than the first time. I was almost exactly in the middle
on left/right (economically) and minus 4 on the
authoritarianism/libertarianism dimension. All the same, however slightly,
I'm like most others in falling in the right libertarian quadrant - just
*barely* right of centre economically and fairly strongly socially
libertarian. I expect a lot of you will fall far more clearly than I in the
same box, if you do the test.
