I just lable it "reproductive sanity". Other PCish terms might include
"reproductive foresight"
"procreative insurance"
"zygotic choice" (I like this one....this is hard to paint a swastika on!)
"optimal fertilization"
"desired trait preservation" (iffy... the Hun lurks behind this one )
