That's right, the liberal idea was to confiscate the $300 per person, or $600
per couple, despite the fact that there was no legitimate reason to perpetrate
this extortion to begin with.. The point Lee had made was that distributing
millions of dollars to billions of people would cost more than the value of
the money.
