I'm working on a press release for the Libertarian Futurists Society's
annual Prometheus award, which will be awarded at the WorldCon in
Philadelphia over Labor Day weekend. (LFS is a libertarian group that
gives annual awards for best Libertarian Science Fiction, and a Hall of
Fame award for Best Classic Science Fiction.) I was looking at the
WorldCon schedule in order to give as much detail as possible about the
ceremony. (4 pm on Sunday 9/2)

I noticed that one of the 22 events scheduled at the same time was a
panel discussion titled "Portraying the Unportrayable: Writing About the
Superintelligent and Transhuman". The panelists are Julie Czerneda,
Tony Daniel, Nancy Kress, and Larry Lewis.

Sounds like fun. Anyone planning to be in Philadelphia?

Chris
