Dear Extropes,

a brief blurb

The July/August issue of IEEE/AIP's Computing in Science & Engineering
has some emphasis on Nanotechnology, with articles:

* Computational Nanotechnology w/Carbon Nanotubes and Fullerenes
* Multiscale Simulation of Nanosystems
* Computational Electromagnetics of Metal Nonoparticles and their
Aggregates

This issue also has a nice introductory article (w/equations)
to Bayesian methods:

* Bayesian Data Anysis by Black and Thompson

Amara

(Now slowly making my way to the Arctic circle. There *might* be a
gettogether of extropians in Stockholm 12 August, upon my return
south. If you're interested, please contact Anders Sandberg.)
