I sent a post late last night when I should have been in bed asleep. Among
other things I wrote:

People have sometimes commented that I have unusual life-goals, but I don't
actually live to gather pecans.

I also wrote:

I didn't mean to imply that the ancestors of the Karankawas discovered the
way to immortality. "Ancestors" should have been "descendents."
