Well, I'm not much acquainted with statistics for other development
countries, particularly those outside of Latin America. But the statistics
I've read for Argentina show a continued increase in income concentration
on behalf of the 10% or so of the population that forms the upper class.
Again, my caveat is (as with all the other e-mails I've sent recently on
Argentina's situation) that the probable cause of this is the dreadfully
corrupt way in which the privatization process was carried out in my country.
