Actually, until just recently I have been enforcing security on the list by 
gathering the "true names" and phone numbers of all those coming on the 
list.  After that I would call to ensure their residence.  Of course, this 
wasn't totally foolproof, but it was much more so than it previously had 
been.  It does take a fair amount of work to do this (calling, keeping 
track etc.) but it seems that if the above is true, then I will continue 
doing this.
I would say, though, that if this was an attack, we would probably have 
heard more responses from newer list members in the past day since L B's 
post.  Still, if anyone receives this kind of threatening message, please 
let me know.
