With the Jarvik the killer problem was clot formation
on the valves, leading to all the strokes. I'm
puzzled that no source I've yet found discusses
AbioCor valves, given they appear to be the critical
technology. Lots of raving about transcutaneous
power transmission, which is IMO no big deal.
