Brent, I saw this as a clever if cynical commentary on the future
of the web. Dr. Know was a kind of extrapolation of search
engines. There was an interesting comment that "information is
now the only thing that really costs anything."
Consider it equivalent to the Star Wars sight gag of the speeder
that could hover in a 1 G field without anything running, yet to
actually move forward required two enormous engines of some
