Interesting. I reminds me of an article that appeared in the New York Times
sometimes last year, with the headline something along the lines of "On
Welfare and Not Psychic? State Will Train" The article described how the
NY State government, as part of its "welfare to work" program, was actually
training welfare recipients to work as telephone "psychics"! I assume it's
still going on.
