I like all these things about books, as well as the way they smell. But
they DO take up a huge amount of space; I think my books take up more
space than all my other personal property combined, even though I donate
stacks of them to the local library from time to time. I think I could
be happy with e-books if the quality of the display were a little better
than it is now. One could still enjoy pleasant haptic and olfactory
sensations by having a soft leather case for one's e-notebook.
