Space colonization looks necessary to me. Since it would be undesirable to
neglect to do something necessary, I guess that makes it desirable also. Whether
it's space or planets that you want colonized, the bigger question seems to me:
With what should it be colonized? With people? With humanoids? With robots?
Of course the first thing we should colonize is AI. Seek ye first the Kingdom of
Singularity and its righteousness, and all else shall be added unto you.
