Enlightenment happens when the ego disappears. Consequently, "you" become
something totally incomprehensible in your current state of consciousness.
Despite that no one can convey the meaning of enlightenment in words, verbal
descriptions and poetic references can provide guidance for attainment.
Similarly, no one can tell you how it feels to be in love. You have to
experience it for yourself.
Since hope derives from ego, hoping for enlightenment produces yet another
obstacle to its attainment.
